Performance
• The 75 ft3 (2.12 m3) load (struck) capacity allows customers to complete top dressing applications in substantially less time. Using the TD-460 to top dress one regulation football field at a rate of a ¼ inch in depth takes about 53 minutes. Using a standard small machine (23 ft3 (0.65 m3) capacity) to complete the same job takes about 128 minutes – 76 minutes longer on average.
• The 72 in (183 cm) wide spread width means customers will have fewer passes across the field (5 passes with the TD-460 is equivalent to 6 passes with 60 in (152 cm) wide machines).
• The Finishing Brush can be operated at 500 RPM to throw material down into the base of the turfgrass canopy for improved integration with the ground surface.

Versatility

Low Grounds Pressure, No Turf Damage
• TYCROP’s four wheel walking beam suspension provides the lowest possible ground pressure. Low ground pressure when fully loaded (depends on weight or material, air pressure in tires, etc.)
• This system also provides unmatched stability and full time 4 wheel contact with the terrain, minimizing the risk of damaging the turf during operation. This is proven technology used on all of TYCROP’s professional turf products since 1991.

Safety
The lower, wider body of the TD-460 provides maximum stability. Customers can add a high performance 4-wheel electric brake system that includes a tractor mounted brake controller and foot pedal to ensure the safest braking performance and even braking synchronization with the tractor.

Low Maintenance
With very few moving parts the TD-460 is easy to service and maintain. There’s only two moving parts on the main unit – the Finishing Brush hydraulic motor and the hydraulic floor motor. These parts are manufactured in North America and they’re easy to source on a moment’s notice.

Ease of Use & Operator Control
• The TD-460 utilizes two simple control valves for adjusting the speed of floor belt and the Finishing Brush.
• The TYCROP designed, quick adjust multiple position tailgate (lock in any position) provides precise application rates and created less “drag” than other designs.
